This is a hands‐on Project Engineer role for someone who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to see their ideas move from concept to production. You'll support capital projects, drive continuous improvement, and play a key role in new product development across our sites.
About the Role
* Support end‐to‐end capital projects, from concept, specification and CAPEX approval through to installation, commissioning and handover.
* Work with suppliers to design and deliver best‐in‐class processing, packaging and automation solutions.
* Provide engineering support for commercialisation of new products.
* Improve safety, efficiency and performance using world‐class manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
* Be the technical go‐to during equipment installations, start‐ups and optimisation phases.
* Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance and Technical teams across multiple sites.
About You
* Degree‐qualified engineer (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Chemical or Process).
* Experience in delivering projects in a FMCG, food, beverage or pharmaceutical (GMP) manufacturing environment.
* Proven success delivering projects on time, on budget and to Australian safety standards.
* Strong project management capability (formal PM qualification highly regarded).
* Experience using AutoCad.
* Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders and present solid CAPEX cases.
* Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a fast‐paced, growing operation.
