Role
The role involves preparing and planning work for packages to ensure the successful delivery of the program of works, specifically focused on building projects. Key responsibilities include analysing project specifications and drawings, preparing and revising construction schedules, coordinating with designers, engineers, and contractors, monitoring project progress, and providing updates to management.
Responsibilities;
* Prepare and maintain the Project delivery program requirements.
* Provide all program information to update the 4D model.
* Program all Authorities requirements and attend meetings as required.
* Provide strategic advice on the impact of design changes to the programmed activities.
* Report to the Project Management Office on a regular basis or as required.
* Develop short- and long-term programs.
* Ensure Milestones are maintained and updated on a regular basis.
* Prepare end of month progress reports.
* Update and maintain the critical path reporting.
* Provide dashboard reports on specific key trade data to support monthly reporting.
* Evaluate subcontractor Claims (EoT) and support the Commercial Team.
* Provide cashflow forecasts to Client.
* Attend all planning meetings and provide mark ups and drawings to evaluate and review programs.
* Visit sites as required to assess most safe and efficient delivery methodology
Requirements
* Australian citizenship preferred
* Engineering degree and minimum Certificate III in power, project management or other relevant qualification
* Computer skills in Primavera, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, GIS (I-View) Mapping
* A minimum of 10 years working knowledge of construction, maintenance, planning/scheduling work
* An excellent understanding of budgeting, forecasting and cashflow preparation
* An excellent understanding of HSEQ issues as they relate to planning
