About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Motor Vehicle Technician to service and repair vehicles. As a full-time Motor Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs
* Performing maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and more
* Road testing vehicles to ensure the quality of repairs
* Accurately completing service documentation and job cards
* Communicating with customers to explain issues and proposed solutions
* Working collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards
* Following all safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements:
* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a motor mechanic holding a relevant qualification (e.g., Certificate III)
* Automotive trade qualification and certificates
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A strong focus on safety and compliance with WHS regulations
* Available to work on Saturdays
