ROLE SENIORITY : Managerial
GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Sales Manager to lead technical support and sales efforts in the Range & Pasture (R&P) and Industrial Vegetation Management (IVM) markets. This role focuses on growing market share, building strong customer relationships, and driving business development strategies for herbicide solutions in these sectors. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise, market insights, and commercial leadership to maximise sales performance.
YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: Technical & Market Expertise: Provide expert guidance on herbicide solutions for industrial vegetation management and range and pasture. Conduct product training, technical presentations, and field demonstrations to educate customers on best practices and product benefits. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage. Technical Support: Provide technical advisory, product support, and product performance enquiries to Envu staff and customers. Establish end to end field trials to strategically support sales and solution development teams, and complete trial reporting suitable for both internal and external uses. Develop and enhance external partnerships to build brand value and identify new opportunities. Support marketing activation plans, including presentation development, technical notes, and other marketing materials. Liaise with the Head of Technical Services to ensure ongoing license to operate and other regulatory requirements. Business Development & Sales: drives growth of the IVM and R&P portfolio within defined territory and key accounts, focusing on IVM and R&P markets Identify new business opportunities with retailers, rural land holders, contractors, local government, and industrial land managers through strategic key account management and territory planning Manage key accounts, including rural retailers, major road and rail contractors and spray contractors ensuring long-term partnerships. Build and maintain strong customer relationships at multiple levels to ensure engagement and long-term business growth. Support forecasting and demand planning in coordination with the supply chain team. Work closely with internal teams to optimize pricing, product availability, and technical support. Provide technical sales support to customers and the Envu team to build trust and ensure a positive customer experience. Utilise CRM to improve customer experience ensuring key measures are entered for both Sales and Technical Services KPI's. Collaboration & Cross-functional Support: Work alongside marketing, product development, and technical teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives. Provide feedback on market needs, competitor activities, and customer challenges to enhance product positioning. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and roadshows to strengthen market presence. ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE? Main requirements: Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the Range & Pasture and IVM sectors. Strong technical understanding of herbicide products, rural and industrial vegetation management practices. Experience in field technical trial agronomy work preferred Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience working with contractors, government agencies, and infrastructure companies is highly desirable. Willingness to travel to customer sites, field trials, and industry events as needed. Travel required at least 60% of the role.
