Job Overview

The City of Moreton Bay is seeking a highly experienced Senior Policy Analyst to join its Natural Hazards Planning Branch.

This technical leadership role will influence how the city prepares for and responds to natural hazards and climate change, shaping policies, strategies and projects that protect people, property and the environment.

Responsibilities:

* Developing and implementing policy initiatives related to natural hazards and climate change.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address community needs.
* Providing expert advice on policy development and implementation.
* Maintaining accurate records of policy progress and outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Master's degree in a relevant field such as urban planning, environmental science, or public policy.
* At least 5 years of experience in policy development and implementation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
