**Principal Responsibilities**
**If you are an outstanding leader and can drive change, we would like to hear from you. You will possess a natural ability to multi task and prioritise, particularly in pressure situations. Working closely with the Managing Director the key responsibilities will include**:
- Delivering an efficient and profitable transport service across our Regions
- Deliver continuous improvement with regards to Bus Contract key performance indicators
- Oversee the effective utilisation of fleet and delivery schedules to achieve optimum efficiencies and customer satisfaction
- Ensure all NSW transport activities are managed to the required safety and compliance legislation and standards
- Drive compliance with Transit Systems Quality Assurance systems
- Manage and monitor costs and budgets
- Ensure the quality maintenance of company assets and records
- Contractor management
- Appropriately manage, investigate and resolve depot issues and incidents
- Effectively lead and manage the team
- Exceptional leadership style with a desire to succeed and create a consolidated and positive team environment
- Extensive experience in managing bus services and delivering Bus Contracts compliance
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing transport safety and compliance legislation
- Proven experience in assessing operational performance and driving improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated compliance with Quality Assurance systems
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
- A high level of computer skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with people in all levels of business
- A clear understanding (preferably training) in OHS legislation, Hazard ID's, incident reporting and follow up
- A desire to work collaboratively within the management team to produce optimum results for the company as a whole
- An ability to manage and critically review operating procedures and costs to identify opportunities to minimise expenditure and improve profitability
