Job Title: Care Companion
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to provide support and care for our clients in their homes.
This role involves assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing companionship and social support.
Responsibilities will include:
* Personal Care: assisting with showering, dressing, and medication prompts
* Domestic Assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Social Support/Transportation: accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and social events
* Aid and Equipment Support: assisting clients with the use of aids and equipment, such as wheelchairs and walking frames
* Complex Needs Support: supporting clients with complex or challenging needs
* Well-being Monitoring: monitoring clients' well-being and reporting on their progress
* Team Collaboration: participating in staff meetings and attending training sessions as required
