About the Role
The past few years have been a whirlwind of success, and with even more ambitious growth plans ahead, we're only just getting started We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial accounting function for Australia, preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reports and advice to enable efficient and effective management decision making, and enhance commercial performance.
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working on a number of things, including but not limited to:
* Perform all month-end and year-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance and balance sheet account reconciliations, to provide complete and accurate financial information and records.
* Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities including review of all statutory returns prior to submission.
* Maintain the fixed asset register ensuring assets are depreciated in line with relevant accounting policies for the region and produce monthly reconciliation and reports.
* Complete finished goods, raw material, and packaging stock management and reconciliation reporting, to ensure company policy is adhered to regarding stock take, ordering practices are appropriate and production remains uninterrupted.
* Maintain daily cash flow and daily bank reconciliation to maintain sufficient liquidity for the company and reconcile bank records with company records.
* Oversee daily Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable transaction processing and reconciliation of business partner accounts, and process payments for each currency separately in line with company policy.
* Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, management reports and CAPEX in line with required timeframes, to provide senior leadership with information about the financial result and performance of the company.
* Oversee the preparation of year-end taxation computations, including both current and deferred tax, and ensure the accurate and timely lodgement of the annual tax return in compliance with Australian tax legislation and corporate reporting standards.
* Review and analyse monthly financial results to identify trends, risks, opportunities and gaps and present these in a timely manner to management and relevant stakeholders.
* Preparation of yearly audit pack for external auditors, providing full document support and responding to all audit queries in a timely manner to ensure the external audit process is successful.
* Monitor debtor age balances and following up with relevant salesperson for overdue amounts to follow up on moneys owed.

Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate (you) will have demonstrated experience in a senior financial accountant position, with solid knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, cost accounting, audit and tax, budgeting and forecasting, and financial reporting. You should have the ability to think strategically to support senior leadership to understand the company's financial position and interpret financial reports in a way that enables effective decision making.
