Our client operates a strong brand in the building and pest pre-purchase inspection space. They are going through an exciting growth phase. This national brand has been operating successfully for 10+ years, enjoying year-on-year growth, and presenting multiple internal opportunities and growth.
THE ROLE
Due to recent growth, our client is looking to take on a contractor to assist with inspections. We’re seeking qualified Building & Pest Inspectors to join our team across Sydney. This role would suit an experienced building and/or pest inspector or a licensed builder/site supervisor seeking a change. Approximately 90% of work will involve pre-purchase inspections.
As an Inspector with our client, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding the structural integrity and safety of properties. Your core responsibilities will include:
* Identifying structural defects, safety risks, and compliance issues
* Producing detailed inspection reports with clear, actionable recommendations
This role is vital in supporting safe property transactions, ongoing maintenance, and renovation projects by ensuring buildings meet relevant safety and compliance standards.
ABOUT YOU
* Demonstrated expertise in conducting building and/or pest inspections
* Certified in Timber Pest Management (CPPUPM3008 & CPPUPM3010)
* Must have completed Cert 4 in building at a minimum
* Excellent attention to detail with strong report writing capabilities
* Physically capable of inspecting subfloors, roof cavities, and external roofing areas
* Holds a current police clearance (or willing to obtain one), valid driver’s license, and access to a dependable vehicle
