Reporting into the manager, you will help service fire alarm systems on site.
The Electrical Technician will be servicing, testing and/or programming fire panels, cabling, alarm systems and associated equipment on our clients' sites.
You will contribute by:Surveying customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with Chubb Fire & Security procedures and processes.Identify, test, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance Chubb Fire & Security procedures and processes.Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including Field Services handheld technology.Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes.About YouExperience working as an Electrical Technician in the Fire Protection industryCurrent Electrical licenceUnrestricted work rightsCurrent Driver's licenceCurrent Cabling licenceWell developed communication and interpersonal skills.Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipmentA Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation is ideal, but not mandatoryEAHL is ideal, but not mandatoryGreat attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client baseAdhoc FIFO prospect for projects / maintenanceWhat we will offer you:Excellent remuneration package as per the EBA – rates of pay, full maintained company vehicle, mobilePlanning and support for progression towards any role within ChubbOpportunity to work on a range of fire panels and a variety of customer sitesWorking for a global organisation which brings job stability and where you are treated like familyGreat team and branch cultureAccess to People Matters – an employee discount platform with access to hundreds of discounts from health, groceries, electronics and moreApply now to see where Chubb can take your career.
