Position Title: Chef

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $65,000 – $74,000 per annum + Superannuation

Hours: 38 hours per week (or as per award)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items to a high standard, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. This hands‐on role is perfect for someone experienced in a busy commercial kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and plate a range of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and standards.
* Maintain consistent quality, portion control, food safety, and presentation.
* Assist with food preparation, ingredient organisation, and kitchen setup.
* Support stock control, ordering, and kitchen hygiene procedures.
* Work collaboratively with kitchen and front‐of‐house teams to ensure smooth service.
Skills & Experience Required
* Certificate III (or IV) in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification preferred.
* Minimum 1 year's experience working in a commercial kitchen (restaurant/hospitality).
* Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‐paced environment.
* Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
