Due to Flavorite's rapid expansion, we have a outstanding prospect for Warehouse Leading Hand.
The Warehouse Leading Hand is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor for coordinating the warehouse functions to ensure packaging and fruit stock are managed and that warehouse machinery and equipment are operating effectively.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring packaging items and fruit are stored correctly and are easily accessible when required
Assist the Production Inventory Supervisor with the management and training of team members
Operate forklift to load and unload materials
Prioritise daily tasks in accordance with warehouse and packing requirements
Operation of all warehouse and fruit storage equipment
Manual loading daily produce onto packing lines
Operation of box machines or any other machines in accordance with daily production
Perform higher duties in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor
A valid forklift license
Basic computer skills
Previous experience in or the drive to take the next step in a leadership position
Results based orientation
A good level of fitness
The hours of work are Wednesday - Saturday with a start time of 6:00am.
