QuestCare is an established, family-founded and led organisation with over 40 years of unwavering dedication to providing premium, person-centred support services. As Canberra’s first Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for community services, we don't just provide care; we shape the future of the sector by training the majority of Canberra's support workforce. We deliver high-quality disability support (including NDIS services, SIL, and support coordination), and aged care services.
We are seeking a General Manager to provide strategic direction and operational leadership across our diverse programs, ensuring exceptional outcomes for our clients, their families, and older Australians. The Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be instrumental in:
Strategic Leadership: Providing clear strategic direction and operational oversight for all QuestCare programs based in the ACT and surrounding areas, ensuring alignment with our vision and values.
High-Quality Service Delivery: Upholding and enhancing QuestCare’s reputation as a premium, value-driven provider by ensuring the delivery of consistently high-quality, dignified, and compassionate services.
Team Development & Culture: Fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and reflective practice, leveraging our unique RTO capabilities to build and nurture a skilled, reliable, and flexible workforce.
Operational Excellence: Overseeing and optimising all aspects of program delivery and corporate support units, demonstrating effective planning, leading, organising, and directing of staff, and projects.
Sector Expertise: Applying sound knowledge of current trends and issues relevant to adults with disability, children and young people, and older Australians to drive service innovation.
Compliance & Safeguarding: Ensuring robust adherence to all legislative, regulatory, and ethical frameworks, with an unwavering commitment to the care and protection of children, young people, and adults from harm.
What You Bring:
Experience: Demonstrated effectiveness at a senior management level in the disability support or broader community services sector, with a proven track record in managing diverse teams and various business units.
Qualifications: A degree qualification in Business or a related discipline, or extensive equivalent experience.
Leadership & Development: Proven ability in team leadership, development, and a commitment to fostering continuous professional growth within staff.
Communication & Strategic Thinking: Exceptional verbal and written communication, advanced interpersonal skills, well-developed problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to think laterally and strategically to meet deadlines under pressure.
