The Role
The successful applicant will ideally have excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and possess the ability to deliver content in an engaging manner. The successful applicant should be flexible, willing to work collaboratively with staff and possess strong interpersonal skills to allow connection within the school community to achieve the best outcomes for all students.
Our school is engaging with Teach Well Professional Learning to enhance our high impact explicit instruction, and our classroom practice reflects this. Teachers who have completed Teach Well professional learning are encouraged to apply but this is not essential, as we will provide relevant professional learning to the successful applicant.
In this role, you should be student‐focused and able to work collaboratively in a team environment, while exhibiting an engaging and energetic teaching style. We are seeking a teacher to develop our students' fundamental skills and to give them confidence in their academic career to succeed.
You should ideally be self‐motivated, prepared to enthusiastically embrace new opportunities and work proactively towards achieving successful outcomes for all students.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3‐year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3‐year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role or transfer permanently into this school.
