Coffee and Chat - Become an Aged Care Volunteer Visitor
Advocare Incorporated (Advocare) is an independent, community based, not for profit organisation that supports and protects the rights of older people in Western Australia through information, advocacy and education. Advocare enables older people to make informed choices, understand their rights, resolve issues with aged care services, and access appropriate support and assistance.
Advocare volunteers assist in providing the Advocare Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme to older people living in Residential Aged Care facilities or receiving a Home Care Package. Volunteers engage in one on one visits to people who are socially isolated or experiencing loneliness and whose quality of life would be improved by positive engagement and companionship.
