About the role
Reporting to the National Engineering and Innovation Manager, this role is responsible for the design, modelling and documentation of reinforcing steel to Australia's major construction projects. You will interact directly with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers and internal stakeholders to determine customer needs and ensure the accurate supply of reinforcing steel to each major project.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Create and deliver accurate BIM models using Revit or Tekla
* Implement design changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle
* Streamline workflows using BIM technology to improve project efficiency
* Understand project objectives and advise on engineering solutions
* Engage with clients and design engineers to achieve optimal outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders
This role would suit an experienced Modeller who has worked in the construction and engineering industry. Our ideal candidate is a goal‐oriented team player who is enthusiastic, tenacious and prides themselves on their attention to detail.

Advantageous skills for this role:
* Previous experience as a Modeller or Reinforcing Detailer
* Technical mindset with an ability to read and understand technical drawings to create models
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* A diploma, certificate or degree in civil/structural engineering, drafting, or architecture desirable
* Experience in modelling software such as Revit, Tekla, ProConcrete or similar
