The Company This market leading, blue chip, national Manufacturer/Distributor provides specialist Equipment and Hire services to a number of industries within Australia, most notably Building & Construction. The Role To start ASAP, this full time permanent role is a rare and fantastic opportunity to become part of small, close knit finance team, reporting directly to the Snr Accountant. This hands-on, multi-faceted role will require you to manage and to end AR and AP, BAS, GST and job costing/invoicing in a construction environment. Role will be office based initially, then after training phase be hybrid working office 4 days, and home 1 day per week. Your primary duties will comprise of: AR AP Invoicing BAS GST Job costing Receipting Bank recs Assist with month end reports Other ad-hoc duties as required by Finance team About You A team player and self-starter, you will ideally be a degree qualified Accounts/Finance Officer who has had experience in performing a multi-faceted and hands-on Accounts role in a fast paced environment. Candidates with Building & Construction experience in a project costing type of environment will be looked upon favorably. However candidates from other industries with strong communication skills and high attention to detail are also welcome to apply. Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience in performing general accounting tasks.
