Job Description:
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract. This role will coordinate and manage the delivery of technology projects within Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services (SI&CS) to achieve long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work independently to meet project timelines and outputs.
2. Create and review business cases for endorsement by the SI&CS IT and Cybersecurity Governance Board.
3. Maintain a clear understanding and control of project budgets, risks, and issues.
4. Select and implement the most effective delivery model and risk management approach for each project.
5. Deliver projects on scope, time, quality, and budget.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field.
* Australian citizenship, which is required for a government security clearance.
* Substantial experience in business analysis, process design, enterprise program management, and project management.
* Demonstrated success in delivering projects and programs on budget and schedule.
* Experience driving business change to ensure project acceptance and deliver expected business value.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk management principles.
* Broad knowledge of various business areas, including key processes, systems, financial, operational, and commercial aspects.
* Commercial acumen, with the ability to understand business drivers, financials, and relationships.
