This role leads the tactical planning process within the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) framework, translating strategic forecasts into a rolling 4-week execution plan within a 3-month horizon.
The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional planning meetings and work closely with maintenance, workshops and commercial teams to ensure asset availability and delivery against customer requirements. The role also monitors performance, manages risks to the plan and drives continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety and Zero Harm culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote and maintain a strong Zero Harm safety culture, reporting incidents and ensuring compliance with WHSE legislation and company procedures.
* Coordinate and facilitate the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and associated cross-functional planning activities.
* Lead the weekly and daily planning cadence to align workshop activities, maintenance schedules and operational priorities.
* Maintain a rolling 3-month asset forecast to align equipment availability with maintenance and hire schedules.
* Monitor progress against plans, identify risks to delivery, and communicate priorities and performance updates to stakeholders.
* Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal teams, account managers and key stakeholders to meet customer requirements.
* Support commercial performance and financial outcomes by assisting maintenance and account managers to achieve budget forecasts.
* Identify and implement business improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
About You
* A strong commitment to safety and Zero Harm, with the ability to promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with WHSE legislation and company procedures.
* Experience coordinating Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and facilitating cross-functional planning meetings.
* Proven ability to lead weekly and daily planning activities to align operational priorities, workshop schedules and maintenance requirements.
* Capability to develop and manage forward asset forecasts to support equipment availability and operational demand.
* Strong skills in monitoring performance, identifying risks to plans and communicating priorities across stakeholders.
* The ability to build effective relationships with internal teams, account managers and key stakeholders to support customer outcomes.
* Commercial awareness with the ability to support financial performance and operational budget targets.
* A proactive mindset to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency
* Cert IV / Diploma Project Management desirable
