We are seeking a motivated and detail orientated Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. This permanent full-time role is based at our head office in Milton, Brisbane and will work closely with the Finance Manager and Accounts officer across the MiGroup Brand.

The role

This role will support day-to-day finance functions including expense management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll compliance, invoicing and financial controls.

Key responsibilities

* Expense management including monitoring inboxes, extracting and obtaining invoices

* Uploading, entering and coding invoices into systems such as ProSpend

* Exporting and creating invoicing reports

* Maintaining payment terms in Xero

* Preparing payment files and bank uploads for approval

* Identify and prepare forms for funding applications

* Prepare invoices and credit notes in Xero and receipting cash

* Reconcile statements and prepare monthly bank reconciliations

* Maintain and update finance tracking spreadsheets

* Adhoc payroll processing support

About you

* Completion of a certificate 3 or higher in Financial Services

* Experience in similar processing roles

* A proven ability to multi-task

* Highly organised and process driven

* A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering timely and quality outputs

Essential and desirable skills

* Intermediate skills with Microsoft suite and Xero

* Demonstrated accounts payable and accounts receivable experience

* Astute payroll experience is desirable
