Your New Role A day in the life of a corporate development analyst here could mean many things as no two days are the same. Your projects will range from analysis of existing operations, addressing commercial contracts, business cases/investments, operational improvement programs, capital projects, all the way through M&A activity, corporate strategy, legal documentation reviews, general problem solving. In summary, you'll be part management consultant, part investment banker and part commercial manager, all in one! You will be asked to build financial models, create beautiful presentations, clear professional reports, and submissions (credit, tender, etc). You'll have the support of peer level analysts, senior analysts, and managers there to assist you on the most complex of projects. Your Profile This is the exciting bit - the main criteria for hiring is that you are a standout with people skills. You've overachieved academically, and in the workplace you've continued to grow quickly based on outperformance of your peer group. Your background could be from traditional pathways - management consulting (strategy), investment banking/corporate finance (valuations, DD, or M&A), professional services/consulting where you are client facing and had excellent on the job training (Insolvency/Risk/Audit/Tax), so long as you bring the financial modelling (you'll be subjected to a case study and tested), and commercial nous we can consider you.
