About You
As an Intake and Referral Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing advice and support to potential clients and their families, ensuring a positive first point of contact with our organisation and delivering an exceptional onboarding experience.
* Provide Positive First Contact by Efficiently Addressing Email and Phone Enquiries
* Collaborate with Participants and Families to Understand Their Unique Needs
* Partner with Service Delivery to Match Services to Specific Care Needs
* Uphold NDIS Principles and Relevant Legislation in All Processes
* Generate Insightful Reports on Client Data, Trends, and Positive Outcomes
* Proactively Engage with Funding Bodies to Facilitate Resource Access
* Build Strong Relationships with Internal and External Stakeholders for Seamless Collaboration
You Will Have
* Strong Communication Skills to Forge and Maintain Positive Relationships, Contributing to a Collaborative Environment
* Confidence to Uphold Service User Privacy and Confidentiality
* Adaptable, Exceptional Organisational and Problem-Solving Skills to Thrive in a Dynamic, High-Volume Setting

* Proven Experience in Managing Competing Priorities to Deliver High-Quality Outcomes within Deadlines
* Sound Understanding of Person-Centred Thinking, the Principles of the NDIS, and the National Disability Service Standard
* Certificate IV in Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services or Relevant Experience Highly Desired
