Role Description
As a Technical Account Manager - Sales-Oriented, you will own the commercial success of a portfolio of key clients. You will act as the primary point of contact, helping customers optimize their experience with Simply.TV while driving revenue growth through renewals, upsells, and long-term account expansion.
While the role involves understanding technical solutions, deep technical expertise is not required — product knowledge will be developed through onboarding and training. Your success is measured by customer satisfaction, account growth, and the ability to spot and act on revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Own client relationships and act as the main commercial and technical point of contact
* Understand client goals and provide guidance on optimizing the use of Simply.TV's data solutions
* Identify opportunities for account growth (upsell, cross-sell, renewals) and work with Sales to execute
* Monitor account health, identify potential risks, and advocate for the customer during escalations
* Coordinate with Product and Engineering to resolve issues and deliver solutions while maintaining client communication
* Document client interactions, account plans, and track open items to ensure transparency
* Stay current on product updates, new features, and industry trends to anticipate and address client needs
Qualifications
You'll thrive in this role if you:
* Have a university degree in a relevant area, e.g. Business or Technology, or a related field
* Have 0-3 years experience in client-facing, commercial, or account management roles (TAM, CSM, Account Manager, Sales Engineer, etc.)
* Have exceptional written & spoken English skills (additional European languages are a plus)
* Have a passion for technology, innovation, and customer success
* Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset
* Are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can translate complex technical concepts into clear and simple language
* Enjoy working collaboratively across technical and commercial teams
* Are comfortable learning in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability is key
* Are full-time available and eager to build lasting client relationships

Note: This role is not a hands-on engineering or solutions architect position. Candidates primarily seeking technical-only responsibilities may find this role less suitable.

* Type of Collaboration: Freelancer setup (Fulltime - 40hrs/week)
