* Build experience across full range of surface water projects and capabilities
* Develop specialist skills in surface water modelling including (e.g. GoldSim, TUFLOW, URBS)
* Regular check-ins with mentor and senior leader to guide technical development and career progression

This role is based in our Darwin office.
About you
This opportunity is for engineering students or those with an engineering degree, looking to start their career in flooding and water resources in 2027.
* Completing or completed a degree in civil, environmental, chemical or software engineering
* Basic conceptual understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic processes
* Exposure to spatial software such as QGIS and / or 12D
* Exposure to programming languages such as Python
* Awareness of TUFLOW, URBS, XP-RAFTS, HEC-RAS, MIKE FLOOD, GoldSim
* Understanding of surface water projects and customer needs
* Good communication skills
* Seeking a culture of high performance and employee engagement
* Awareness of the Australian water industry, markets and competitors
