ANU Sport is an independent incorporated association that delivers sport, fitness and recreation services and opportunities to the ANU Community. ANU Sport is an UniSport Australia member institution, and the ANU is a member of the Group of 8, Australia's 8 leading universities.
We exist to facilitate connections within the campus community through health, well-being and sport. Our aim is to enhance and grow the opportunities for students and the ANU community to engage in sport, fitness, and recreation, promoting well-being and balanced lifestyles. ANU Sport is responsible for the operation and management of the ANU Sport Fitness Centre and all ANU Sport facilities, along with supporting over 30 sport and recreation clubs and delivering social and competitive sporting programs.
About the role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Coordinator to support and execute marketing initiatives focused on digital identity, brand systems, and design-led experiences. This role sits at the heart of brand, marketing, and design—ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across all digital touchpoints. In this role you will work alongside other members of the marketing team to bring ideas to life. This role will be an expert on the ANU Sport Brand and digital landscape, as well as the organisation's voice and audience.
Key responsibilities:
* Working alongside all marketing staff to coordinate the creation of "on brand" multimedia content, including graphics, videos, print and social media assets for distribution
* Coordination of ANU Sport brand toolkit and associated brand guidelines.
* Develop and maintain a cohesive brand identity across digital channels.
* Ownership of the ANU Sport website aesthetic, voice and content, while enhancing the user navigation experience.
* Ensure brand consistency in visuals, messaging and tone.
* Further develop the ANU Sport digital footprint to enhance engagement with the ANU community.
* Assist in the planning, execution and monitoring of digital marketing campaigns such as but not limited to social media, email marketing and pay-per click.
* Staying up to date with new and emerging digital marketing or consumer trends.
* Coordinate the design and creation of engaging marketing and communication content for purposes such as annual reports, campus sport & recreation guide and fitness centre and sport specific marketing material.
* Manage resources and budgets for design and digital initiatives.
* Other duties to support the ANU Sport as directed by management.

The successful candidate will have professional experience and the capacity to demonstrate their ability to coordinate strategic communications and marketing plans.
Selection Criteria
Mandatory
* Previous experience in a marketing or communications role, with the capacity to demonstrate results.
* Technical understanding of, and ability to work with digital and print media with regard to
* Social media platforms
* Design software (Canva, Adobe Suite etc)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven capacity to manage multiple responsibilities
* Proven ability to develop ideas in a creative and effective manner
* Proven capacity to work effectively with a diverse range of internal & external stakeholders
* Willingness to learn, show initiative and exercise judgement
* Eligible to work in Australia.
Desirable
* Photography capabilities
* Event delivery experience
* Ability to develop and create engaging print and digital content
* Videography and video editing capabilities
