We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and bridge construction experience to support the delivery of key infrastructure works across regional NSW, based in Dubbo.
This is a 6–9 month contract role responsible for overseeing bridge and associated civil works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with TfNSW standards and specifications.
LAFA and DIDO arrangements are available for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end delivery of bridge and associated civil infrastructure projects
* Ensure compliance with TfNSW specifications, technical standards, and QA requirements
* Manage project programming, resourcing, and cost control
* Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
* Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
* Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks
* Maintain strong WHS leadership and site safety culture
* Liaise with TfNSW representatives, engineers, local councils, and key stakeholders
* Ensure environmental and community compliance obligations are met
* Provide regular progress reporting to senior management
Essential Requirements
* Demonstrated experience delivering TfNSW infrastructure projects
* Proven bridge construction or rehabilitation project experience
* 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager within civil infrastructure
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (GC21 highly regarded)
* Experience delivering projects in regional or remote environments
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
Desirable
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* Experience across structural concrete and/or steel bridge structures
* Experience working under RMS (legacy) frameworks
* Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or similar)
