About the Role
The role of an Aged Care Nurse is pivotal in ensuring that residents receive compassionate and effective care while supporting and developing the nursing team. This position not only impacts the quality of life for residents but also contributes to the overall success of the aged care home.
This is a leadership opportunity for a Registered Nurse with 3 years working experience within Aged Care. The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
1. Lead a team of nursing staff and personal care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that residents receive high-quality, person-centred care.
2. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to residents and implement best practices ensuring compliance.
3. Collaborate with Clinical teams and Facility Manager to ensure care is tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
4. Effectively communicate with residents, families, and have a knowledge of Aged Care Standards.

Requirements
* Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant state or territory regulatory authority.
* Evidence of Australian work rights.
* Evidence of current Flu Vaccinations (or willing to obtain).
* Evidence of both COVID 19 vaccinations.
