The Opportunity
HealthShare NSW is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Food Services Assistant to play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well‑being of patients at our hospital.
Responsibilities
* Order taking
* Meal assembly
* Meal preparation and distribution of patient meals
* Recording intake
* Dishwashing and other associated cleaning duties
* Waste management

Eligibility Requirements

* Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents or a valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa.
* This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 12) for a complete list of required vaccines. Upload OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool with any vaccination evidence you have during application.
