**The opportunity**
We’re seeking an experienced Administrator or Project Officer to step into the Communications Project Officer role for a period of up to January 2026.
This role is vital in supporting the Communications and Customer Experience Section in all of their administrative needs, including executive assistance to the Section Manager through diary management, business papers, reporting, and management of data kept across PSC’s corporate systems.
Alongside the administrative functions of this role, you will also provide project and administrative support to the broader Communications and Customer Experience team.
The team work in a fast-paced and often reactive work environment, requiring their support to be the eyes and ears of the team, being one step ahead and ready to support with whatever gets sent their way.

- Coordinate the overall administration of section and business unit functions & systems development
- Execute executive administrative duties as required by the Communications and Customer Experience Section Manager
- Coordinate projects undertaken by the section including management and updating of project plans, systems views, and other key documents as assigned by the Communications & Customer Experience Section Manager and / or Section Coordinators
- This is a temporary opportunity for a period of up to January 2026 - working full-time, 35 hours / week
- Base Salary Range: $69,600 to $81,716 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,464 retention allowance
- You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

- A tertiary qualification in administration or project management
- Demonstrated experience in the role of executive assistant or senior administrator to senior positions with medium to large organisations
- Effective in managing a corporate diary
- Demonstrated communication ability to prioritise a high workload and achieve results within the appropriate timeframes
- Experience using Authority, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Adobe Creative Suite
