About the role
We are seeking an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our team at FORESTWORKS LTD'. In this permanent position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community organisations. This role is crucial in supporting the company's objectives within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, with a focus on Manufacturing and Furnishings industries. The position is based in Carlton VIC 3053.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies to strengthen relationships and support the company's goals
Representing ForestWorks at industry events, conferences, and meetings around Australia, to enhance our profile and network
Identifying and capitalising on new opportunities for collaboration and partnership
Facilitating effective communication and information sharing between ForestWorks and our stakeholders
Monitoring and reporting on stakeholder engagement activities and their impact
Providing expert advice and guidance to the leadership team on the outcomes of stakeholder management
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to stakeholder engagement
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' experience in a stakeholder engagement or partnership management role, preferably within the Vocational Education & Training industry
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, industry bodies, and community organisations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences
Strong project management and coordination skills, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
The ability to develop well written project proposals substantiated by current industry data and stakeholder feedback.
Proven track record of successfully facilitating collaborative partnerships and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes
An understanding of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and the key issues and trends affecting it
Passion for contributing to the growth and success of the organisation
