Share and recommend Microsoft solutions to customers.
Develop value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans that drive business outcomes and generate upsells.
Secure buy-in and execution of plans to identify new opportunities within assigned accounts.
Coordinate with internal industry experts to gather industry data and improve planning.
Responsibilities
Account Management – Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partner networks for specific accounts, collaborate with partners to develop customer business and technology transformation plans, share opportunities, and drive deal momentum inclusive of partners.
Account Planning – Engage with internal and external stakeholders to plan account strategies, set priorities, and orchestrate joint planning rhythms.
Ensure the extended virtual team and partners work toward common goals and document plans.
Plan Execution – Manage and execute sales and delivery methodology for multiple accounts, coordinate virtual teams, achieve revenue and consumption targets, and drive joint account governance.
Propose initial solutions and sales plays.
Customer Engagement – Understand customer drivers of business and technology transformation, mitigate competitive risk, capture line-of-business wins, and build connections with executives and decision makers.
Leverage selling methods and account-based marketing outputs to create pipelines and reflect engagement strategies in the customer plan.
Industry Knowledge – Learn the business of assigned accounts, understand the industry and Microsoft's position, coordinate with industry experts to gather data and improve planning.
Sales Excellence – Develop value-proposition presentations and business plans to generate new opportunities.
Secure buy-in, identify non-qualified opportunities, gather customer feedback, and improve experience.
Orchestrate virtual teams and stakeholders to meet customer needs.
Create stakeholder maps and recommend relevant solutions based on KPIs.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 2+ years experience in an industry (financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education) and/or driving digital transformation OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) account management experience OR equivalent.
