Your Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Officer to join our Strategy, Growth and Stakeholder Engagement team. This role is a temporary Fulltime role, that play a vital part in promoting Council services, programs and community initiatives, helping to promote the growth and development of the Southern Downs Regional Council.
You will work across all departments within Council on a diverse range of projects, delivering campaigns that align with Council's strategic Objectives and Values.
Term:Temporary Full-time - 12 months
Hours of Work: hours per fortnight
Pay Level:$3,524.01 to $3,663.33 per fortnight (Level 5), plus 12% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading
In accordance with Council's Enterprise Agreement and the relevant Award. Pay rate dependant on relevant skills and experience.
Employment Base: Warwick, Queensland
Other Information: Flexibility to work from home part time or Flexible Start and Finish times

About the Department
The Strategy, Growth and Stakeholder Engagement Department works collaboratively with industry, business groups and the broader community to support long term prosperity for the Southern Downs region. It is a multi - disciplinary department that includes research and advocacy, community engagement, economic development, grant acquisition, communication and marketing, and festival and events.

* Drive the marketing goals of Council by designing high quality collateral for print and digital platforms in accordance with Council's brand hierarchy and associated style guides.
* Participate in communication project briefs from all departments within Council by providing innovative plans and advice to help drive growth and engagement across Council's marketing channels
* Plan, deliver, monitor and report on regional tourism marketing campaigns for Council's tourism brand, Southern Downs and Granite Belt.
* Develop and maintain promotional resource libraries across all Council departments including images, videos, banners, merchandise and signage.
What You Will Need
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* The legal right to live and work in Australia
* A Class C (car) licence or greater is required in this role.
* A relevant qualification(s) of at least degree level.
* To be able to demonstrate your competence in relation to all of the Selection Criteria as detailed in the Position Description.
