**About You?**:
Our ideal **IT Security Officer** will be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive background working as a technical matter expert in the IT security field;
- Strong understanding of security threats, including vulnerabilities and malware, and mitigation techniques;
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory and Exchange administration;
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Exchange;
- Knowledge and experience with identity and access management architecture and best practices;
- Understanding of relevant security standards and frameworks, including the ACSC Essential Eight, ACSC ISM, and ISO 27001;
- Proven experience working in a multi-disciplinary team, building rapport and providing critical thinking to support and manage stakeholder expectations;
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
You will need the following:
- Undergraduate degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification;
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' Certificate of Completion or willingness to obtain;
