Building Services | MEP Manager – Data Centre Developer (Client-side) Services Manager leading critical MEP infrastructure $220 – 280’000 inclusive (Subject to experience) Hyperscale Data Centre Projects, Sydney Atlas Recruitment have partnered with one of the fastest growing developer, owner & operators of hyperscale Data Centre facilities in Australia & the wider APAC region. 2026 represent a massive year of growth within their NSW pipeline, with major projects commencing driving new opportunities within their projects team. The Services Manager will join the business on one of the largest Data Centre projects in Australia. Working within a multidisciplinary team ensuring the successful delivery of assets, with a focus on critical building services infrastructure. Our client is looking for talent with Tier 1 / 2 construction delivery expertise. Those operating at Services Management, Mech / Elec Project Management, and Senior Project Engineers (MEP) are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Managing data centre services projects, implementation of critical infrastructure and technical services. Planning, change management, customer coordination, internal stakeholder management across all aspect of project. Work with the general contractor and their services manager to identify risks to service trades documentation, design and delivery of site works and implement strategies to mitigate risks to service delivery. Conduct site inspections of works carried out and report on defects, progress and project risks. Carry out monthly progress claim review & complete weekly reports Ensure vendor & trade interfaces are documented and scope of works are reviewed. Provide services assessment and review trade recommendations issued by the general contractor as part of the companies’ procurement process. Establish project meeting cadence with all stakeholders (internal and external) related to the project. Provide support to project accountants and internal finance team on controlling the cost. Managing risks and issues and mitigating corrective actions. Managing stakeholders’ communication, for both Internal staff and external contractors. Coordination of procurement process and managing large & complex production lead times. Oversee the development and implementation of a project commissioning plan. Oversee the functional testing and commissioning of all aspects of the facility operation and services in accordance with mandatory legal and business requirements. Ensure that all plans (including as built) and documentation for the ongoing maintenance and support of the data centre are handed over to Systems & Infrastructure. About You Tertiary qualified in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or a relevant trade background. Proven background in leading MEP construction across Tier 1 projects.
