Your New Role
Ausco Modular is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the development and implementation of category strategies for procurement across the organization. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to deliver impactful solutions and optimize business performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and maintain category strategies aligned with business requirements.
2. Conduct market analysis, sourcing, and negotiate with suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on strategies and sourcing activities.
4. Manage supplier relationships, ensuring contract compliance and quality service delivery.
5. Drive cost-saving targets and meet procurement objectives.
6. Promote health, safety, environmental, and ESG initiatives within the category.
7. Support global improvement projects and procurement strategies.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 5 years in Category Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related fields.
* Strong communication and relationship management skills.
* Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing complex change projects.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, and ERP systems.
* Experience in procurement processes with a track record of achieving targets.
* Degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred.
* CIPS Level 4 Diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
