Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.
Job Description
This position is to provide specialist professional advice, assist with technical support and detailed engineering designs relating to stormwater drainage and flooding engineering related matters. To assist in identifying areas for improvements to Council's stormwater drainage system including flooding outcomes for the Local Government Area. Also, to prepare, supervise and monitor contracts from design phase through to practical completion.
Qualifications:
The successful applicant will require to hold a Degree in Engineering acceptable to the Institution of Engineers Australia or Current enrolment and minimum of 75% completion of an accredited Australian Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree. Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence and a General Construction Induction Training certificate (GIT or White card).
Hours of work and Salary:
35 hours per week. Annual salary range from $83,756.92 to $92,128.40 (Grade 13). Plus superannuation.
