Electrical Engineering Professional
We seek an Electrical Engineering Professional to join our team in Tasmania.
The position involves designing and manufacturing custom electrical switchboards for commercial, industrial, and specialized applications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed designs of electrical switchboard systems ensuring design specifications meet production standards and regulatory requirements.
* Troubleshoot and resolve challenges in switchboard system development and solutions.
* Collaborate with customers to understand project requirements and present innovative design concepts.
* Create quotations, including material costings and identification of long-lead-time components.
* Coordinate prototyping and testing of new switchboard-related components.
* Provide support in resolving manufacturing issues to maintain on-time delivery.
* Oversee the testing and maintenance of all electrical equipment.
* Lead initiatives for repairing, upgrading, and testing cable modification programs.
* Analyze and present engineering performance data to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
* Completion of a formal qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* A minimum of two years' relevant experience in a switchboard manufacturing or similar electrical engineering environment.
* Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
* Familiarity with standard electrical and mechanical hand tools.
