**UTOPIA Gaming Systems**, a part of The Banktech Group, is a leading gaming solutions provider servicing Australian clubs and hotels. It provides in-venue gaming systems and related services including cashless gaming, loyalty and Business intelligence systems and is at the forefront of digital systems technology.
We're seeking a capable Operations Manager to lead our gaming services team and plan, direct and coordinate 2nd level support and operational activities to enhance customer satisfaction. The team includes DevOps engineers, system consultants, customer support and product trainers.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing exceptional customer support;
- Developing solutions to customer issues to ensure repeat issues are limited;
- Achieving operational efficiencies whilst ensuring client issues are resolved effectively;
- Designing and implementing processes and procedures to support operations;
- Monitoring relationships with suppliers;
- Managing budget requirements.
You should have:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in IT or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in gaming support and/or venue operations.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing operations and providing support.
- Intermediate/ advanced skills in Excel, Word, and other software tools.
- Experience working in device management or technical service delivery environments.
- Demonstrated ability in team leadership.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Demonstrated decision-making capability.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
