About the Role
The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for the leadership of Process Engineering in the Extrusion to Reel Section to meet Safety, GMP, Good Engineering Practise (GEP) and cost requirements.
Process Engineers for process stages report through the Engineering structure but will have a portion of their work directed or closely aligned with Production.
This position will provide Mechanical Drafting Expertise for the Site.
Responsibilities
* Define, standardise, and maintain robust operating windows to deliver consistent product quality.
* Capture, share and embed process conditions through effective procedures and best practices.
* Drive improvements in cost, quality, speed, and availability through data‐led process optimisation and SPC.
* Provide hands‐on technical support to production and maintenance teams in a continuous operation environment.
* Support R&D, capital, maintenance, and reliability projects across the site.
* Lead engineering process and project activities in line with company policies and procedures.
* Scope, plan and deliver projects, including budgets, timelines, specifications, and stakeholder alignment.
* Develop CAPEX business cases with strong justification and high‐quality documentation.
* Identify and shape future capital investment needs based on risk, reliability, and production requirements.
* Partner with Operations to develop effective operating programmes and procedures.
* Validate system and product capability through feasibility studies, installation and testing.
* Apply structured problem‐solving tools (RCA, A3, Lean, Six Sigma) to reduce variation and improve performance.
* Manage suppliers and contractors in line with company standards and governance.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of Engineering and Maintenance excellence programmes.
* Champion a culture of safety, GMP, professionalism, customer focus, and operational excellence.

* GMP and FMCG experience is preferred.
* Managing Engineering projects and delivering results.
