About the role
Bridgestone Select Zillmere is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Zillmere, Queensland. This is a full‐time position, providing an immediate start. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles to the highest standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our workshop.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
* Test and inspect vehicle systems and components to identify and resolve problems.
* Use specialised tools and equipment to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and addressing their concerns.
* Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used.
* Comply with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in automotive mechanics or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic, with a proven track record of delivering high‐quality work.
* Strong diagnostic and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve vehicle issues.
* Proficient in the use of various tools and equipment used in the automotive industry.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
* Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional demeanour.
* Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the workshop.
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
