We're a growing, well-established automotive business on the Sunshine Coast and we're looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team.
This role sits at the centre of our operation. You'll be working closely alongside our Customer Service Administrator, acting as the key link between customers, technicians, and management to keep jobs moving smoothly and efficiently.
Automotive industry experience is essential. This role is suited to someone who is focused, highly organised, efficient under pressure, and tech-savvy.

About the Role
This is a hands-on service advisor role in a busy workshop environment. You'll be responsible for managing multiple jobs at once while maintaining accuracy, momentum, and clear communication across the day.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing incoming customer enquiries and booking vehicles in efficiently
* Understanding and coordinating common automotive services and repairs, including:
* Logbook servicing requirements
* Brake, suspension, and steering repairs
* Engine diagnostics and fault finding
* Cooling system repairs
* Timing components, injectors, turbos, driveline and transmission-related work
* Reviewing technician job notes and translating findings into clear, practical explanations for customers
* Preparing accurate quotes based on labour times, parts pricing, and repair scope
* Gaining customer approval promptly to avoid delays and downtime
* Monitoring job progress and proactively managing timeframes and customer expectations
* Invoicing completed jobs accurately
* Ordering parts and coordinating with suppliers
* Communicating with technicians throughout the day to track job progress, clarify work requirements, and adjust priorities as needed
* Working collaboratively with the Customer Service Administrator and Technicians to prioritise workflow and daily tasks
* Supporting management with general operational and admin tasks as required

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven automotive industry experience (essential)
* Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Workshop Administrator, or similar role is recommended
* Strong working knowledge of automotive terminology, repair processes, and labour times
* A focused and efficient work style, able to manage multiple jobs without losing accuracy
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confidence using technology and digital systems daily, including:
* Job management software
* Email, calendars, and digital task tracking
* The ability to read and understand technician job notes, inspection reports, and recommendations
* Clear, confident communication skills for discussing repairs, options, and pricing with customers
* A calm, professional approach in a fast-paced environment
