Disability Support Worker
Hourly rate ranging from $74-$150
Seeking honest and enthusiastic people to join our team of NDIS-funded carers looking after Kirsty (aka kb). You must have a great sense of humour, a driver's licence and be able to cook healthy, delicious vegetarian food. Current available shifts are afternoon and active nights - currently we are looking to fill mainly active night shifts.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
* House cleaning and tidying
* Cooking, shopping and laundry duties
* Helping pay bills and organise appointments
* Looking after Kirsty's delightful dog Bella
* Assisting with short physio sessions, showering and personal care
* Transferring with overhead hoist
* And very importantly, kb is a singer/songwriter and you might have to help with writing down her lyrics and listening to her songs.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Current ABN (Australian Business Number)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance
* Current Police Check
* Copies of qualifications/certificates
* Experience and background in nursing/disability industry is strongly preferred
* 2 current, contactable references with phone numbers
* All work visa holders welcome to apply
