You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering major projects across Australia.You will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. Your expertise will help us optimise our financial performance and achieve our business objectives.In this role you will have the opportunity to:Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts for the Divisions and Markets, highlighting key performancedriversMonitor the financial control environment, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting the local managementteam in strengthening controls and governanceWork closely with Group Finance, Regional Finance, Treasury and Tax teams to improve financial delivery to project teamsPartner with the General Manager and Market Leaders to develop and track business plans, providing financialanalysis and advice to inform decision-makingSupport management teams in workforce planning and resource allocation by providing accurate, timely financial inputsFacilitate regular finance reviews with senior leaders, helping identify corrective actions or opportunities to improve performancePresent financial insights and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders in a clear, engaging and action-orientedmannerPromote a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvementAbout YouBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Mott MacDonald celebrates diversity and inclusion, offering a supportive work environment that values work-life balance, diversity, inclusion, and equity.
