We are looking for an experienced International Sales Manager to join this leading tourism group. Work for the largest privately-owned wildlife parks in Australia.
Working with a great Management team your key responsibilities include:
Business development:
Drive international sales (B2B via trade channels and tour operators and B2C via online sales) and maximise revenue
Seek out and maintain new partnerships to further support the revenue goals of the business.
Manage trade relations through contracting, negotiations, trade shows, sales calls etc for all international markets.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Trade marketing:
Stakeholder management - trade customers, industry partners including competitors, Destination NSW, Tourism Australia, ATEC and regional tourism authorities
Represent the company at industry events as required
About You:
Thorough understanding of the international and domestic tourism distribution network
Robust networks with buyers and sellers across the Australian tourism industry
Current experience as a BDM and/or Sales Manager
Strong organisational, interpersonal, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills.
Strong business and commercial acumen
Strong international sales experience
It would be ideal if you have the ability to speak a second language
A proven track record of delivering outstanding results in a similar business ideally within tourism.
