Tech Lead (AI-Focused)

We are looking for a
Technical Lead
with 7+ years of software engineering with a deep focus on AI over the last 2 years to architect the future of our firm. It's a deep-stack mission to turn our organization into an agentic powerhouse and you will be the primary architect behind the "Cygnus AI Pattern", establishing the gold standard for how we design, govern, and deploy agentic systems.
The Mission: The "Super-Brain"
* You will lead the "Internal DevEx" revolution. Your mission will be to create a high-velocity build environment by integrating Claude Desktop, Antigravity, and Codex assistance tools. By leveraging the
Model Context Protocol (MCP
), you will turn these assistants into an integrated "super-brain" that can orchestrate
code, infrastructure, and business logic across Microsoft and open-source ecosystems.
Looking for someone who can explain complex LLM trade-offs to a client as easily as they can debug a tool-calling agent.
What We're Building
You'll be the primary lead establishing the gold standard for how we design, govern, and deploy AI. You'll bridge the gap between high-level reasoning and low-level execution, ensuring our AI-first transition is scalable, secure, and—most importantly—blazing fast.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecting Agentic Workflows
You will lead the design and deployment of the "Cygnus AI Pattern," building a production-ready ecosystem that balances autonomous logic with enterprise stability.
* Multi-Framework Orchestration:
Select and implement the right tools for the job, utilizing
Microsoft AutoGen
for complex agent logic,
Semantic Kernel
for .NET/Azure integrations, and
n8n
for event-driven automation.
* Integrated Intelligence (MCP):
Build and maintain custom
Model Context Protocol (MCP)
servers to bridge AI assistants with our internal stack (GitHub, Jira, Slack).
* Low-Code Scaling: Rapidly
extend AI capabilities across the organization using
Copilot Studio
to integrate with M365 and the Power Platform

High-Velocity Software Delivery
* Establish the workflow for
GitHub Copilot
and
Claude Code
to automate the boring stuff - boilerplate, testing, and documentation, allowing engineers to focus on high-level architecture.
* Deploy AI-driven Code Review Assistants that act as the first line of defence in PRs, ensuring adherence to the "Cygnus AI Pattern" before a human even sees the code
* Utilize
n8n
and
MCP
to transform ideas into functional Proofs-of-Concept in hours, creating a seamless pipeline from low-code experimentation to pro-code production.

Technical Quality & Governance
* Architect AI-driven systems to automate test creation, execution, and defect detection, drastically increasing coverage and speed.
* Reflect-Refine Loops: Implement automated self-critique cycles to ensure AI-generated code is performant, secure, and idiomatic.

In the first 12 months, you won't just be managing—you'll be delivering. What that means is:
* Delivering 2–3 major client AI solutions to production.
* Establishing the "
Cygnus AI Pattern
" for architecture and governance.
* Uplifting our engineering pods so that AI capability is in our DNA.
