This NSW government agency is a major service provider that strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within the government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements within the government and provide services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 5 Month's Contract, paying up to $939 P/D Incl Super. This role is in Parramatta (hybrid).
**About the Role**
The Project includes the design, development, and delivery of an operating software tool incorporating near data real-time linkages to agency datasets, with supporting dashboards/portals and workflows to support frontline staff.
This digital and interactive plan will aim to coordinate the delivery of evidence-based interventions to reduce the risk of further crises for a family. This project will assist in delivering a reduction in the costs associated with greater service usage, mostly across child protection, public housing and justice.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis using sophisticated technology tools and complex data collections.
- Filter and "clean" data to locate correct data subsets to ensure the quality and accuracy of source data.
- Analyse and define current process improvement opportunities to support continuous improvement and business outcomes.
- Produce reports, visualizations, and recommendations to answer business problems that are presented in the most appropriate format to ensure clarity for the target audience.
**About You**
- 5 years' experience in Project based work building data platforms.
- Data engineer / Senior Data analyst with broad background not only in SQL
- Capability to create database from scratch.
- Understanding of data linkage and the required data framework to run it.
- Able to validate de-identified / scrambled data set from various sources and identify the best way to link them.
- Experience in performing end to end ETL.
- Ability to build query to search and automate.
- Ability to engage business stakeholder to understand data structure, data sources, data levelling
- Ability to work independently and ability to lead discussion with other technical resources in workshop.
- Good Stakeholder engagement and communication skill.
