Are you ready to take your career in occupational health, safety, and environmental risk management to the next level?
We are seeking a technically skilled Health, Safety, Environment Advisor to drive excellence across our operations. In this role, you will work closely with program managers supporting ADF Ground Support Equipment and Counter-CBRNE contracts.
* You will develop and implement HSE protocols tailored to specialized operational contexts, ensuring alignment with Defence and Commonwealth standards.
* Your expertise will guide risk assessments, incident investigations, and audit activities in domains where precision and resilience are critical.
* You will advise on HSE considerations throughout the asset lifecycle – from capability planning and procurement to sustainment – ensuring safety and environmental controls are integrated into every phase.
* You will interpret legislation, apply ISO standards (14001, 45001), and analyze HSE data to identify emerging risks and drive continuous improvement.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement HSE protocols aligned with Defence and Commonwealth standards.
2. Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits to ensure compliance and drive improvement.
3. Advise on HSE considerations throughout the asset lifecycle, integrating safety and environmental controls into every phase.
4. Analyze HSE data to identify emerging risks and drive continuous improvement.
5. Lead toolbox talks, mentor operational teams, and partner with stakeholders to embed a proactive, learning-focused safety culture.
