Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) provides public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region. The Lithgow Campus supports approximately 20,000 people and offers services including Emergency Department, Geriatric assessment, Obstetric services, Paediatric service, Drug and Alcohol unit, and Domiciliary care.

You will provide cultural support and safety to clients, assisting staff in direct and indirect client work.

What You Will Bring To The Role
* Minimum Certificate III qualification in Aboriginal Primary Health Care or a related health qualification (including recognition of prior learning).
* Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification; applicants must cite Aboriginality. Further information at NSW Health Stepping Up website.
* Willingness to learn and apply local policies and procedures for Primary Care and Community Health.
* Ability to provide cultural brokerage, guidance, and facilitate respectful, culturally safe access for individuals and communities.
* Experience with social support for people with chronic and complex care needs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong written, oral, and computer skills.
* Current NSW State driver's licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work (may include long-distance travel across the LHD).
