Since 1978 Beehive Vinyl Products has grown into a solid reputable local fabricator of vinyl, canvas and shade cloth products for consumer and commercial applications as well as providing motor & marine trimming products and services. Along with its sister company Australian lining Company Pty Ltd we are seeking a Full time Accounts & Payroll Administrator to join our team
About the Role
Working as part of a collaborative team, including with assistant admin staff, you will have exposure to a broad range of finance activities withing the organisations in a stable, well supported role.
Key Responsibilities
· Processing of Accounts Payable & Receivable transactions through Rekon
· Monthly statement reconciliations.
· General Ledger, Bank, and Credit Card reconciliations
· Prepare end of month reports & other financial reporting
· Preparation & lodgement of BAS, Payroll Tax & PAYG,
· Liaise with external bookkeeper/accountants & Rekon software consultants for assistance to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
· Calculation and processing of weekly payroll through Employment Hero (Keypay) & maintaining payroll & some HR records.
· Liase with internal HR, & external HR consultants for compliance with awards & legislation for pays & allowances.
· Maintain high degree of confidentiality with financial & payroll records
· General accounts support to other administration staff
About You
· Hands-on experience with accounting system (Rekon preferred but not essential - similar desirable eg: MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero, Attache
· Strong Microsoft Office skills.
· Proficiency in accounts payable, receivable and financial administration
· Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing with payroll system (Employment hero – Keypay is highly preferred but not essential)
· Exposure to with some knowledge of payroll legislation and Modern Awards
· High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
· Strong time management and organisational skills

· Excellent communication skills, you will be liaising with employees at all levels.
