About the Role
As a Care Support Worker in our Residential Services, you'll support customers living in shared homes to lead safe, independent, and fulfilling lives. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll provide consistent, person-centred care in a 24/7 environment, helping customers achieve their goals in a home‐like setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing/showering, feeding, dressing, grooming, bowel and catheter care, and manual handling
- Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and household routines
- Support customers to build life skills and independence
- Facilitate community access and social participation
- Medication assistance, transport and domestic assistance, and documentation
- Implement individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
- Accurately document care and report any changes in customer wellbeing
- Complete all mandatory training annually
Must-haves
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Experience in disability, aged care, or residential support
- Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends, sleepovers, and public holidays
- Strong communication skills and a team‐first attitude
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to obtain)
